Notes: No tripod, no monopod, no nothin’ but my arms and body.
It’s not a great photo, but I do like how I managed to get a rolling shot of Danuta. Slowing the shutter speed down meant I had to really carefully follow her as she walked - I tried a few times before it actually worked. It looks pretty cool, imho.

Model: Hazel L.
Hair: Hazel L.
Clothing: Hazel L.
Notes: Had to use a homemade diffuser so that the flash wouldn’t be so bright - using a styrofoam cup or plate actually isn’t too bad on a pop-up flash.
Here Hazel, I know you’ve been dying for photos, right? You’re clearly gorgeous, & it shows.

Model: Naomi C.
Hair: N/A
Clothing: N/A
Notes: The picture is a little blurry because my shutter speed was a little lower than I would have liked it to be.
Nomes is so photogenic - she’s genuinely curious about the camera, and she is actually a very photographable character. As long as her mum or dad is around, she’s happy and doesn’t mind if I capture a few photos of her. Of course, being one-and-a-half means that she’s barely ever sitting still for any of them, but where would the fun be if she was?

Model: Karl A.
Hair: Neil A.
Clothing: Karl A.
Notes: Picture was taking in low-light settings - required a simultaneous flash from another Rebel XSI to achieve well-rounded lighting.
Karl got all dressed up for semi-formal, & I had to take photos. I mean, who doesn’t capitalize on moments when people get all dressed up? When’s the next time I’m ever going to see that happen? Luckily, he’s a good sport, so the quick photo session wasn’t stressful.
